Meet your hearthling.
They live in your home and they're here to help you look after it. What should we call them?

You can change this any time in Settings.
Now, tell us about your pad.
Do you rent or own? The rest follows from there.
Smart move staying on top of things.
Good to know: Staying on top of filters, drains, and smoke detectors is a great way to keep a healthy home — and a serious leg up when you're ready to own one day.
Your list will stay focused on what's in your control as a renter.
What do you call this place?
A nickname or the address — whatever's easier.
What's the zip code?
We use this for local cost estimates when a task needs a pro.
How much do you want to see?
Pick a starting point. You can change it any time in Settings, and hide any single task you don't want.
Your hearthling will ask a quick question or two the first time you open a task — that way we only ask what's actually relevant to your home.
Before we start: staying safe.
  • Your hearthling gives general guidance, not professional advice, and can be wrong.
  • Gas, electrical, roof, ladder, and structural work can cause serious injury or death. When a task says Call a pro, call one.
  • Follow your product's instructions and local codes. Smell gas? Leave and call your utility from outside.
  • Reminders can fail. Keep your smoke and CO alarms working, and don't rely on this app alone for safety checks.
  • Emergency? Leave and call 911. You decide what to do in your home, at your own risk.
